I-131-L Block Shield
The shield is designed for facilities that prepare and distribute high-active 131I therapeutic doses. The shield provides excellent protection from beta and gamma radiation, and has a fully shielded floor. When standard shielding is used to store higher activity or for additional shielding, side shields or lead bricks can be used to form walls.
Lead glass is 3.5 inches thick to shield high-energy gamma photons from radionuclides.
